Luisa Pereira Hors
Artist, engineer and musician based in New York City. Her practice explores new ways of engaging with music. Pereira was an inaugural member of the New Museum's Art and Technology incubator, and a fellow at the Processing Foundation. She has taught design and technology courses at NYU ITP, the School of Visual Arts, the School for Poetic Computation, and most recently at the Interactive Media Arts program at NYU Shanghai. Her work has been exhibited internationally; recent venues include Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Santiago de Chile, Loop Summit in Berlin, the New Museum sky room in NYC, and FILE in São Paulo. Pereira's projects have been featured in Wired magazine UK, Creators Project and Gizmodo. As an interactive designer and engineer she has worked for clients like Samsung, Hermés and Google, creating interactive installations and experiences.

Systems engineer, Master in Computer Science, specialized in critical systems from the Paris Diderot University, France. Currently works at Ikatu (www.ikatu.com) as a systems architect.
"I follow the twitter accounts of: Fayerwayer, PulsoSocial and WWWhatsnew. I rarely go to their sites. In general, they tell stories originated in the north. I don't see much value in reading replicas in Spanish. As a creator of technologies, I need media of this type to position my brand, sell and raise capital associated with a venture. On the other hand, as a consumer of content, I would be interested in close ups alla Dobcast: technology profiles that can tell you about a man's or woman's journey, their vision of the future. That's a content that I'd consume. I think a longer podcast format, or video interviews, could serve as the backbone of a spanish speaking tech website".
